Medieval and Renaissance Picnic

Location

Come one, come all to a celebration of the coming summer! The grass is green, the sun is out[1] and it is time to gather in the park and meet those both old and new. Therefore there shall be a medieval and renaissance themed picnic, with fencing, dancing and music.

This picnic is to be held on Sunday the 8th of November, in Cornwall Park (Greenlane West) from 1pm until 3pm.

BYO food and drink. Costume (if you have it) is encouraged but optional.

If you're driving along Greenlane West (heading East towards the motorway/Ellerslie Racecourse), the entrance to the park will be on your right after the hospital. Google street-view link here.

Approximately 150m in through this entrance on your left, you will hopefully see some SCA signs and a number of people gathered in under the trees about 15m away under a large tree. That's us!
